Glenariffe is said to be the Queen of the Glens and after a short walk through its idyllic and magical waterfalls, you’ll begin to understand why. You will be delighted by the trails through the forest, particularly the walk by the Waterfalls. The board walks and steps have been brilliantly constructed so that you are able to view the waterfalls up close.

The sound of the falls and the lush green forest make it a walk to remember and it is wonderful for experiencing nature at its best and great photo opportunities.

The Laragh Lodge café sits at the foot of the waterfalls and is an ideal way to relax and refuel before or after taking in the beauty of what the Queen of the Glens has to offer.

Car parking

There is car parking available at the Laragh Lodge which is very handy if you just want a short walk to see the waterfalls

Duration

If you just want to see the waterfalls, you can spend 30 minutes to 1-hour meandering through the boardwalks however there are walking trails throughout the forest which could take up to 2hours to walk around.
