Not only is this a photo opportunity not to be missed, the history and legends surrounding the castle offer a real-life Game of Thrones® story and helps bring your journey on the coast road to life.

Visitors are welcome to walk around the grounds and down the iconic steps to the caves below the castle free of charge however there is a small fee to view the visitors centre and walk inside the castle.

Also, a heads up, the Wee Cottage tea rooms opposite the castle is an excellent way to chill out and refuel before moving onto the next part of your adventure.

The Castle is situated on the Dunluce Road which forms a main part of the Causeway Coastal route. It is very easy to get to and there is a Dunluce Castle app for iPhone and android devices available, free of charge, from the App Store and Google Play to further enhance your visit.
